Forget fake news; the real issue is fake “hate.”

America’s leading hate group, the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) claims whites have committed approximately 9,456,723 hate crimes against minorities since Trump’s election.

Has there been one?  I mean actual, documented hate crimes, not alleged.

The Muslim girls in particular seem to be very spirited liars, providing vivid accounts from around the nation about Trump supporters tearing off their hijabs — at the University of Michigan (since retracted), Louisiana State University (also retracted), San Diego State University (it was a robbery, having nothing to do with Trump) the New York City subway (again: retracted), and the University of New Mexico (no witnesses, won’t reveal attacker’s name or report the incident for investigation).

My main thought, reading all these stories is: We sure have taken in a lot of Muslims!   While they seem to be having trouble assimilating to American customs about mass murder, when it comes to America’s culture of victimhood, they assimilate like fish to water!

This isn’t a mass psychogenic illness, like when cheerleaders at the same high school all develop tics. It’s not even the Salem witch trials. At least the Salem witch-hunters actually believed in witches. The Muslim hoaxers are outright lying, and they know they’re lying.

Otherwise, they’d leave the country.  If Muslims want to convince me that they’re trembling in fear here in Trump’s America, somebody’s got to leave.

Despite the endless complaints about the reign of terror against Muslims, I have yet to hear of a single Muslim — much less a wave of Muslims — moving out of the United States.

It’s not as if they get depressed at the thought of leaving because they’d have to abandon the old ancestral home, where their great-grandparents tilled the land and their ancestors are buried. They just got here!

There’s emigration as well as immigration.

But to the contrary, we can’t keep them out.  They get huffy and give indignant speeches at the Democratic National Convention at Trump’s proposal to temporarily pause our foolhardy decision to haul in millions of Muslims from terrorist-producing countries.

The greatest fear of Muslims these days is that they’ll miss a call from the “Today” show calls and will lose an opportunity to regale credulous hosts with stories about their victimization at the hands of white Americans (whose ancestors are buried here).

Journalists so hate traditional Americans that the SPLC, the main propagator of fake hate crimes, is the their go-to expert on “hate.”

The SPLC is like the cult awareness groups that got taken over by Scientologists. Distressed parents would call asking for help in rescuing their kids, and be told, No, Scientology is not a cult.

Similarly, with the SPLC, the “hate watch” group is the hater.  Their spokesmen appear on TV to defame all the people they hate: whites, Christians, Trump supporters, cops, frat boys and so on.

Unlike some toothless nobody claiming to be a member of the ALL-POWERFUL KU KLUX KLAN, the SPLC’s slanders are instantly amplified by the media megaphone in somber interviews conducted by the most easily fooled people in the world, American journalists.

Breitbart, Daily Caller and others have done a great job collecting the hoax hate crimes since the election, but we need a central clearinghouse to keep up with the volume.

How about someone found the Northern Poverty Law Center (NPLC), to expose the hoaxes being spit out on an assembly line by the SPLC? Maybe the Koch brothers could get back into Trump’s good graces by funding this much-needed service.

The soon-to-be NPLC ought to be in the Rolodexes of every media organization, so they can stop reporting fake news and start covering the real hate crimes being ignored by the press.

Since the election, the only incidents of actual “hate” have been entirely in one direction: against Trump supporters. This is hardly surprising given the climate of hate being spread by the media.

At this point, any claim of “hate” directed at Muslims, blacks, gays or Hispanics by Trump supporters should be treated like a UFO sighting: presumed false, until documented with hard evidence.

But until the NPLC is up and running, here are some tips for journalists:

— Real hate crimes do not begin with laughably implausible scenarios. Try to use a modicum of common sense.

— They are very likely to be captured on videotape.

— Lachrymose accounts posted on Facebook do not constitute evidence.

— In the absence of a police report, medical treatment, or witnesses, it definitely didn’t happen.

The Trump Justice Department needs to create an office that will liaise with the Northern Poverty Law Center. Because eradicating hate is Job No. 1!
